Motswari Private Game Reserve is nestled within the Timbavati Private Game Reserve, open to the Kruger National Park and playing host to the ‘Big Five’. This family-owned and operated four star safari lodge prides itself on its warm atmosphere and luxurious accommodation. The 15 luxury en-suite bungalows each have air-conditioning, and all offer unrivalled views of the surrounding bush. The naturally furnished interiors of each bungalow reflect the wonders of nature that exist just outside the windows. The lodge has two bars, a swimming pool, library, shop and an art gallery. Getting close to the untouched wildlife for which South Africa is famed, game drives and walking safaris are undertaken with highly trained guides. Children are welcome over the age of six years.

    Day 1 - Timbavati Private Game Reserve

    On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport you will be met and transferred by road to Motswari Game Lodge. (LD)

    Accommodation: 2 nights Motswari Game Lodge.

    Motswari is exclusive in that they never have more than 30 guests present at any one time, providing a more serene environment for thier visitor’s African experience. With 15 luxury-appointed en-suite bungalows, each with air-conditioning, and all offering unrivalled bush views, guests enjoy a high level of comfort which complements their level of service excellence. The naturally-furnished interiors of each bungalow reflect the wonders of nature that exist just outside the windows. Also in evidence are two fully licensed bars, a swimming pool and a shop which promotes and sells carefully selected curios from the region. In addition they have a library available as well as an art gallery. Meals are taken either at a scenic location out on the trail with one of the highly-trained guides or in the lounge and, depending on the season, evenings can be spent dining in the bush or inside the Boma, a traditional meeting-place. Meals are accompanied by an award-winning selection of Southern African wines.
