Full Itinerary
Day 1 - Victoria Falls
The tour starts at 15h00 on Day 1 with a pre departure meeting in the foyer of Cresta Sprayview Hotel. Time is free to view Victoria Falls – without doubt one of the greatest and most spectacular sights in Africa. Time is spent at leisure to browse the local markets and to experience the many optional activities on offer in the adrenalin capital of Africa including helicopter flights over the Falls and to visit the Falls (at own expense).
Please note: A Local Payment is required on departure of the tour and paid directly to your guide in cash. Amount required is US$200 (2023) US$250 (2024) per person. This tour will use a 16 seater Mercedes Sprinter vehicle (or similar) and all activities/game drives will be in an open 4X4 vehicle from the lodges.
Cresta Sprayview Hotel is situated just 1.4 km from the Victoria Falls Rain Forest entrance. It is the perfect gateway for adventure seekers exploring the resort town of Victoria Falls and its surrounds. In months when the Falls are in full flood, the spray from this majestic wonder of nature rises like a column of smoke, locally referred to as “Mosi-oa-Tunya”, the “Smoke that Thunders” and can be seen from the Hotel, hence the name “Sprayview” from which the Hotel derives its name.

Day 2 - Victoria Falls
You have the day at leisure to explore the Falls or town or take part in an adrenalin filled activity (own expense). (B)
Day 3 - Makgadikgadi Pans
Departing after breakfast, you will travel through Botswana to the Nata area. In the late afternoon you will visit the Makgadikgadi Pans for a truly unforgettable sunset over what remains of an ancient 6500km2 lake. (BD)
An oasis set among the Mokolwane palms on the edge of the pans. It is ideally situated close to the entrance to the Nata Sanctuary and is just off the main road, 10 km from Nata village. This is the junction to the Okavango, Chobe and Francistown areas. 22 luxury chalets, 10 luxury custom-designed en-suite Meru style tents and camping.
Day 4 to Day 5 - Moremi Game Reserve
Today you will embark on a 3 hour drive to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango delta and Moremi game reserve. Change from your overland vehicle into open 4X4 vehicles and proceed to your accommodation situated at the edge of Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi is lush and varied, shallow flooded pans, plains and forests. It is one of Africa’s finest areas for wildlife, with particularly high game densities including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region and over 400 species of birds. Days are spent enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in the private concession and inside Moremi. (BD) & (BLD)

Day 6 - Maun
This morning disembark on a 2 hour transfer back to Maun. The afternoon is free for an optional 1 hour scenic flight over the vast Okavango Delta (at own expense). (BD)
Thamalakane River Lodge is placed on the banks of the Thamalakane River, just 19kms from Maun, and en route to the famous Moremi Game Reserve.
En-suite stone chalets, some with private splash pools are positioned in the shade of the riverine forest, overlooking the river. Chalets, public areas and the swimming pool take advantage of the 180 degree view of the riverbanks lined with fluttering reeds visited by an ever changing array of water fowl, and birds and the occasional hippo. It is a delightful place to come home to after a day spent exploring.
Day 7 to Day 8 - Okavango Delta
Driving round the pan handle you will traverse to the north west of the Okavango Delta. Arrive at Swamp Stop where you will leave your vehicle and enjoy a 2 – 3 hour scenic boat trip to your accommodation in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The following day is spent exploring the delta on boat rides, mokoro’s and guided game walks on the small islands of the Delta. (BD) & (BLD)
Located on 15 acres with 300 m of Okavango River frontage, the camp features 12 en-suite air-conditioned chalets, a full service bar and restaurant and offers a range of activities to suit the entire family.
Boating, Camping, fishing and exploring the Okavango Delta are the main activities guests enjoy while at Swamp Stop.
Guided fishing day trips, boating day trips into the back channels of the Northern Delta permit guests to really access remote parts of the Okavango Eco-system otherwise inaccessible to adventure travellers.
Day 9 - Caprivi
Departing the Delta by boat you return to your vehicle and cross into Namibia. Continue to the Eastern side of the Caprivi Strip and arrive at your lodge overlooking the flood plains of the Kwando River. A lush area teeming with wildlife and birdlife. (BD)
Along the edge of the mighty Zambezi River, lies the water sanctuary of Zambezi Mubala Lodge & Camp. A bird-lover’s dream, this lodge is home to one of the largest colonies of Carmine Bee-eaters, that live along the banks of the majestic Zambezi. Birds are often joined by the occasional hippo or crocodile, baking in the shallow waters along the banks. Guests can relax and watch the colours of life sail along the steady current of the river.
Day 10 to Day 11 - Kasane - Chobe River
Crossing back into Botswana you overnight on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery, magnificent sunsets and abundance of wildlife and birdlife. The afternoon of arrival is free for an option game drive. Day 11 you relax on a morning game drive and a sunset game-viewing cruise on the Chobe River. (BD)
Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on your doorstep is the meeting point of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
