Just a short drive from Gqeberha, Shamwari is a premier malaria-free private reserve in the Eastern Cape. The reserve spans vast terrain with authentic wildlife encounters, including the ‘Big Five’. Three family-friendly lodges on the reserve welcome children, with childminders available and fun activities at The Kids on Safari Adventure Centre. Children of all ages are welcome at Long Lee Manor.

Trip itinerary

Day 1

This morning you will be met in at your hotel and transferred by road to your lodge for dinner and overnight. (D)

Accommodation: 2 nights Long Lee Manor.

Overlooking the magnificent plains of Shamwari you’ll find the exquisite Long Lee Manor. This newly redesigned lodge boasts Edwardian styled suites and a stupendous rim-flow pool. Long Lee Manor redefines elegance in nature. Guests can immerse themselves in nature whilst on safari at this spectacular lodge. The historical Manor House dating back to 1910, a Shamwari treasure, offers uncompromised luxury in an unprecedented setting. Shamwari offers an array of experiences you can enjoy such as game drives, birding, walking safaris, wildlife rehabilitation centre, photographic safaris and more.
