Designed for the discerning safari enthusiast, this itinerary presents a captivating journey through three of Kenya’s most iconic regions. Experience the vast plains of the Masai Mara, the striking landscapes of Samburu, and the stunning vistas of Amboseli. Engage with the rich traditions of the Maasai and Samburu tribes as they guide you through their homeland. The safari camps have been chosen for the prime locations. You can expect barefoot luxury that  only serves to enhance your experience of the wildlife and unique surrounds.

Trip itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Amboseli, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your camp for your all-inclusive stay. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, taking in views of Mount Kilimanjaro. (LD)

Accommodation: 2 nights Elephant Gorge Camp.

Elephant Gorge Camp is set within the Kimana Group Ranch along the magnificent Lalarashi gorge and offers amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the expansive plains of Amboseli National Park.

Guests staying at the campsite can indulge themselves in utter bush luxury with five distinctively themed residences. Each room is exclusively designed with all-round views of the scenery in the vicinity.

Each morning, guests will be served breakfast ranging from continental to full English spreads consisting of a range of mouth-watering dishes. Guests will also be served a tantalising menu of delectables in the evening.

Day 2

Immerse yourself in a full day of wildlife exploration at Amboseli, known for its vast herds of elephants and stunning vistas. (BLD)

Day 3

Fly to Samburu, where your guide will transfer you to your camp. Spend your first evening with a game drive, spotting unique northern Kenyan wildlife. (BLD)

Accommodation: 2 nights Elephant Bedroom Camp.

The surrounding Samburu National Reserve is an area of spectacular scenery; its dry plains bisected by the meandering river, with the backdrop of Africa's dramatic mountains, including Mt Kenya. The spacious tents have rustic and colourful African touches, offering all the comforts; including a private plunge pool on the deck, hot and cold running water, electricity (and complimentary herbal shower and bath products.

The lounge and dining area is decorated with vibrant safari style, its soft intimate lighting assuring that this is the ultimate place to relax in between exciting game drives. Elephant, Monkeys, Impalas are amongst the camp's many regular wild visitors, whilst Samburu National Reserve has a good number of lions and leopards and offers the opportunity to see many species endemic to northern Kenya.

Day 4

Discover Samburu’s rugged terrain and rich biodiversity on a full day safari, seeking the ‘Samburu Special Five’—unique species found only in this region. (BLD)

Day 5

Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara and transfer to your camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. (BLD)

Accommodation: 3 nights Mara Ngenche Camp.

In a spectacular location in the heart of the Masai Mara, lies this small, intimate, luxurious and elegant Camp. Well hidden in the beautiful greenery of riverine forest, Mara Ngenche Safari Camp offers Panoramic views over the confluence of the Mara and Talek Rivers overlooking a hippo pool that is always busy with these beautiful large animals with crocodiles always in close proximity.

The incredible surroundings of the Maasai Mara makes this a spectacular safari experience. Game drives are always thrilling and are guided by qualified expert local Maasai guides in open-sided 4WDs, (with a maximum of six guest per vehicle).

Day 6 - 7

Spend the next two days with game viewing in the Mara or relaxing and enjoying the facilities that the camp provide. The Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of the wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. (BLD)

Day 8

Fly back to Nairobi after an early morning activity, where your safari comes to a close. (B)
