Trip itinerary

Day 1

On arrival you will be collected and enjoy a city tour of Casablanca with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, the Justice Courts and the Habous Quarters before driving along the coast to Rabat, twice the imperial capital, now the administrative capital of Morocco.

Accommodation: 2 nights Dar Shaan.

Dar Shâan, is a beautiful Andalusian house that is remarkably located at the top of the medina and offers convenient access to the numerous attractions in Rabat. The accommodation comprises of 11 beautifully appointed rooms that feature Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs as well as in-room safes. Additional hotel amenities include a rooftop swimming pool, restaurant and a spa.

Day 2

Visit the highlights of the Royal Palace Gardens, the Hassan tower and the Mohamed V Mausoleum. (B)

Day 3

Today travel to Meknes and visit Bab Mansour the largest and most striking of Meknes’ many gates, the Berrima quarters and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, before driving to Volubilis to visit two of the most historic sites in Morocco - the Roman ruins and hilltop tomb of Moulay Idriss. Continue to Fez for two nights. (B)

Accommodation: 2 nights Riad Le Salama.

Located in Fès Medina, Morocco, Ryad Salama offers accommodation approximately 20 kilometres from Fes Royal Golf Club and Moulay Yacoub Spa. This guest house features free Wi-Fi access, an outdoor pool, a garden as well as a dining room. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a balcony as well as a private bathroom with a hairdryer.

Day 4

Today spend a full day in the second largest and oldest of the imperial cities. It is the Islamic capital of the country. The Medina of the old town is one of the largest surviving medieval cities in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Mosque and the University of Al-Karaouine, the oldest university in the world, Bou Inania and Attarine Medersa together with the Nejjarine Fountain, the souks and Royal Palace Gardens. (B)

Day 5

Drive to Marrakech through the foothills of the Middle Atlas Mountains via the city of Beni Mellal arriving into Marrakech for two nights. (B)

Accommodation: 2 nights Jardin De La Medina.

Les Jardins de la Medina is one of the best-placed boutique hotels for an outstanding stay in the Medina of Marrakesh. Only 10 minutes from the airport and from tour itineraries (the mountains or golf courses), its location enables you, above all, to discover the main tourist attractions in the city either on foot or by horse-drawn carriage. And the wide streets leading to the Jardins de la Médina allow cars or minibuses to go right to its entrance gate - the height of luxury in the Medina.

Day 6

This morning take a guided city tour of the historical sites of the 12th century Mosque, the Dar si Said museum, Bahia Palace and the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. (B)

Day 7

Enjoy your morning at leisure. Later drive to Casablanca for overnight. (B)

Accommodation: 1 night Novotel Casablanca City Centre.
