Trip itinerary
On arrival you will be met by a local representative and transferred to your hotel.
Accommodation: 1 night Sarova Panafric Hotel.
Most city hotels insist on blending into the concrete jungle, thankfully, Sarova Panafric refuses to succumb to this urban order. Idyllically located 5 minutes' drive from the CBD and 18 km from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, amidst beautifully landscaped gardens in a quiet suburb of Nairobi, Sarova Panafric offers 162 rooms in a range of Superior, Executive, Club, Studio and Themed Suites - all recently refurbished and decorated in a contemporary vibrant African style.
This morning after breakfast, you will be met by your guide where you will commence your safari. You will drive past the extinct Volcano of Mt Longonot and Suswa into the homelands of the Masai. After lunch at your camp, you will have the opportunity to observe the unique world of the Masai Mara with a game drive. (BLD)
Accommodation: 2 nights Sarova Mara Game Camp.
Sarova Mara Game Camp is located in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve in South West Kenya. It is 260 km from Nairobi which is an hour flight from Nairobi, 20-minute drive from the airstrip and a 5.5 hours drive from Nairobi on the new tarmac road. It is set on an elevation surrounded by two streams.
The Camp is uniquely laid out over the sprawling grounds that include rolling manicured greens, a virtual mini forest of indigenous shrubs and exotic trees, a large pond stocked with fish, mini bird sanctuary and an authentic Masai village adjoining the camp. The camp includes 20 club tents, 51 standard tents, 2 family tents, a main restaurant, bar and many bush dining options. The free swimming pool has its own pool bar.
Today you will spend a full day on game viewing activities that take you through the vast plains of the Masai Mara searching for the ‘Big Five’. Return to your camp for lunch. (BLD)
This morning travel to Lake Nakuru. Lunch at the Lodge will be followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. (BLD)
Accommodation: 1 night Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
Located on a range of hills that form the western limits of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, the lodge offers spectacular views over the vastness of Africa. The lodge also overlooks Lake Nakuru and its surrounding National Park, one that is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife lovers alike. Lake Nakuru National Park is mainly a wooded and bushy grassland with a wide ecological diversity and characteristic habitats that range from the lake waters to the escarpment and ridges.
Today your day begins with an early morning game drive through the Lake Nakuru National Park. After breakfast, drive a short distance back to Nairobi for lunch in the very popular Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch drive to Amboseli National Park, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro. (BLD)
Accommodation: 1 night Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
Set in 200 acres of private land, and with a rustic charm all of its own, the lodge nestles in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at almost six thousand metres, is Africa’s highest and most famous snow-capped mountain. It was this region of Kenya that, in the 1930’s, inspired Ernest Hemingway’s unforgettable stories ‘The Snows of Kilimanjaro’ and ‘The Short, Happy Life of Francis Macomber’ which were turned into more than successful feature films in the late 1940’s due to their renowned actors. All forms of wildlife still abound in this wilderness which continues all the way to the Amboseli National Park, an easy twenty minute drive away from the lodge.
While the park conserves over six hundred breeding species of birds as well a host of rare and wonderful wildlife, this is also home to the Maasai people, perhaps the world’s most renowned African tribe.
After breakfast you will have the opportunity for a full morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. Lunch at the lodge then depart for Tsavo West in the afternoon with game drive enroute. During the drive, you pass the amazing Lava flows of the Shetani rocks. (BLD)
Accommodation: 1 night Voyager Ziwani Camp.
With a spectacular view of mystical Mount Kilimanjaro, and easy access to the wild attractions of Tsavo West National Park, Voyager Ziwani offers a tranquil retreat in one of the wildest places left on Earth. Located on a private sanctuary on the western edge of Tsavo, the camp sits on a secluded dam on the Sante River – home to turtles, crocodiles and hundreds of basking hippos.
You will start the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast visit Mzima Springs and enjoy another game drive. After lunch drive to Tsavo East National Park with a game drive enroute. (BLD)
Accommodation: 1 night Satao Camp.
Nestled amongst trees and surrounding a central water-hole, the semi-circular layout of the camp provides an excellent viewing point for each of the guests. Satao Camp has 20 tents, all en-suite, thoughtfully positioned to ensure a full view of the camps “own” watering hole. The tents are exquisite; all are attractively furnished with locally made beds and unique African designs. Each spacious tent has a private bathroom with running water. The suites have authentic antique writing desks and beautiful African bed and cushion covers. Comfort and the personal touch is what we provide you with in the bush to ensure your stay with us is one that you will never forget.
This is your last chance so do not miss out on the early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the lodge where you depart for Mombasa, where your safari ends. (B)

What our customers say
We travelled to Africa in June 2018 and it was the best holiday I have had! Everything ran like clockwork. When we were to be met, out driver/guide was there, all our tours were fantastic, all our accommodation was clean and very comfortable. We felt well prepared thanks to all the pre-departure information supplied. By far the highlight of the trip was our safari experience with Kevin. We felt very safe at all times, he is very knowledgeable about his country and all things safari. He was helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed his company. I wish that we could return this year but we will have to wait till 2020 0r 2021 because of other commitments. Africa has got right under our skin and into our hearts.
