On arrival at Kigali Airport you will be met by members of the Primate Safari’s team. Enjoy the Tour of the City of Kigali and the Genocide Memorial Museum. Lunch will be at a local restaurant in Kigali.
Thereafter depart on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The journey North passes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda’s landscape and gradually climb to the base of the Virunga Volcanoes to Cyanika border crossing to enter Uganda and continue to Bwindi Forest National Park through the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ with its winding roads, and many hills and valleys all with a distant views of the Volcanoes and lakes.
Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon to freshen up followed by leisure for the rest of the afternoon. (LD)

High on the Nteko Ridge, above the swirling clouds and the deep emerald Impenetrable Bwindi Forest, where the rare and wonderful mountain gorillas of Uganda make their home, lies a luxury retreat for visitors to the national park.
Guests at Clouds stay in their own cottage, built of local volcanic stone, every cottage has a large sitting room with fireplace, vast overstuffed armchairs and hand-woven carpets. Each individual cottage features the work of one of Uganda’s most respected artists.
Today you may choose to go for another Gorilla or Golden Monkey trek (subject to permits being available). Lunch will be at the lodge before departing and crossing back into Rwanda and returning to Kigali. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Dinner will be your own arrangement.
