On arrival at Cairo International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel you will be met by your tour coordinator and your Egyptologist guide to start your guided tour to visit Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara & Memphis. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Enjoy a shopping stop at a Carpet School before being transferred back to your hotel. (BL)
Day 3 - Nile Cruise
Today you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. (BLD)
On arrival at Luxor Airport you will be met by your tour coordinator and transferred to your Nile cruise.
After lunch onboard visit the West Bank (Valley of Kings & Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El- Bahari and the colossi Memnon). Valley of the Kings: Begin your day with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings, a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs.
On the way back to the your Nile cruise you will passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.

Day 4 - Nile Cruise
After breakfast onboard you will visit the temple of Karnak and temple of Luxor. Built over a period of two millennia by generations of Pharaohs, the 62 acre Temple of Karnak was dedicated to the God Amun. It could take days to explore all of the numerous pylons, obelisks and smaller temples within. (BLD)
Sail to Esna whilst enjoying lunch onboard. After lunch your Egyptologist will guide you around the Greco-Roman Temple of Khnum at Esna. The beautifully preserved Great Hypostyle Hall was built during the reign of the Roman Emperor Claudius; it was excavated from the silt that had accumulated through centuries of annual Nile floods and is about nine metres below present-day street level. Enjoy afternoon tea, dinner onboard and sail to Edfu.
Day 5 - Nile Cruise
After breakfast onboard explore the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic – albeit Greek-built – temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horus at Edfu. (BLD)
Sail to Kom Ombo whilst enjoying lunch onboard.
Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank. Enjoy afternoon tea, dinner onboard and sail to Aswan.
Day 6 - Nile Cruise
After breakfast onboard enjoy your morning at leisure and lunch onboard. Your Egyptologist guide will escort you to visit the Aswan High Dam, Egypt’s contemporary example of building on a monumental scale. Take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilka. Sail by felucca around Kitchener’s Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner onboard. (BLD)
Day 7 - Cairo
After breakfast onboard, you will be met and transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. (B)

Day 9 - End of Egypt Highlights Tour
Today you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your onward flight. (B)
