Wild Ocean Secret Shores

Bench Africa were very proud to sponsor the recent National Geographic Live events around Australia. The roadshow finished at Melbourne Arts Centre last week having toured around the country with Nat Geo Photographer Thomas Peschak.

Bench Africa teamed up with Nat Geo Live to give people a chance to experience Thomas Peschak’s award winning photography. Peschak presented some of his inspirational work in a series of talks around Australia, focusing on the ocean’s charismatic creatures such as sharks and manta rays.

To sponsor these events was a great honour for us. Thomas Peschak is not only a fantastic photographer but one of the most influential nature photographers in the world. Marine conservation is at the heart of every photograph he takes. He is the Director of Conservation for the Save our Seas Foundation which is something that he is hugely passionate about. His enthusiasm is contagious and the atmosphere after each show was electric! It was really interesting and humbling to hear about all of the work that he has done for marine conservation in South Africa.
We need more men like Thomas Peschak; fighting the good fight for our natural world.
