Set in Zambia’s Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, Thorntree River Lodge has a modern contemporary design with tented roof structures to maintain the feel of authentic Africa. Boasting 10 rooms, including two family units, each has an indoor and outdoor bathroom, as well as a luxurious private plunge pool. Adventures are on offer, from boat cruises, game drives, rhino tracking and bush walks, to simply relaxing on the communal deck by the stunning riverside, home to a sunken boma area and an infinity pool.

Trip itinerary

Day 1

On arrival at Livingston Airport you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Dinner this evening will be taken at the lodge. (D)

Accommodation: 2 nights Thorntree River Lodge.

Set in Zambia’s Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, just a short distance from the famous Victoria Falls, Thorntree River Lodge is built with an environmentally-conscious design. Drawing inspiration from local customs and culture, it is a modern contemporary design with tented roof structures to maintain the feel of authentic Africa.

Enjoy a day at leisure or take advantage of one of the many activities. (BLD)

Activities included:
- Game drives and bush walks
- Sunrise and sunset cruises
- Fishing (Catch and release) seasonal
- Canoe trips with picnic lunch
- Village and museum visits
- One trip to the Zambian side of Victoria Falls

Day 3

This morning you will be collected from your accommodation and transferred to Livingstone Airport. (B)
