The riad has been restored using traditional details and techniques with craftsmen from the city's medina, and the result is a small luxury haven with four rooms, three suites and a small swimming pool, all with a finely-honed balance of décor and style.
Although Riad le Salama is typically small in room numbers, it is big in the space that it gives to guests. The spacious ambience is a luxury found in few riad hotels whatever the price. The pool too is a feature that is understandably rare in the centre of a Moroccan city.
Spend the day in this medieval city with its history and culture. Discover colourful souks, mosques, a medieval school and local artisans. (B)
Drive to Bhalil, an old Berber Village, to meet the locals still living traditionally in caves. Continue to Sefrou, an old fortified Jewish town dating back to pre-Islamlic times before the 8th century. Return to Fez and overnight. (B)

The Jardin de Skoura was brought to life by the French owner, Caroline, who spent 20 months restoring this wonderful laid back retreat from an old farm ruin. She brings with her a long history of working in the travel industry and the service, food and attention to detail are second to none. This is the perfect place for a laid back break away from the more tourist populated areas around Marrakech. Jardin de Skoura has eight Rooms in total. The five Standard Rooms are all simply, stylishly and traditionally decorated with quirky objects and rich colours and all have a seating area. Please note that Zitouna and Haaneb interconnect and are perfect for families. The Kasbah Toubkal is an extraordinary venture, the product of an imaginative Berber and European partnership. There is a shared belief that the beauty of the Toubkal National Park should be accessible to all who respect it. To this end the Kasbah has been transformed using traditional methods, from the home of a Feudal Caid into an unprecedented haven; one that provides a variety of accommodation and event possibilities to meet differing requirements. The Kasbah is a welcoming environment for those seeking comfortable mountain refuge, and for those who wish for superb rooms in a stunning setting. The Kasbah Toubkal is not a hotel in the traditional sense, it is more an extension of the hospitality that stems from the home of the Berbers who run it.

Different pieces, of great historic value, have been fitted into spacious rooms and suites, furnished with oriental antiques. A refined cuisine lets you taste the traditional Moroccan dishes, the restaurant of the riad - under the direction of a pair of chefs, French and Moroccan - completes the magic of the riad.
