Chobe Bakwena Lodge is an intimate, privately owned ecolodge on the banks of the Chobe River. Built around both ecological and traditional African principles, the lodge offers 15 beautiful, river view and treetop chalets, each designed and decorated in a manner befitting the environment. Activities are focused on land and water based safaris such as game drives and boat cruises. A host of other activities are also on offer from fishing trips to guided village and bicycle tours or even a sundowner cruise.

Trip itinerary

Day 1

 You will be transferred by road from Kasane Airport to Bakwena Lodge. Transfer time is approximately 15 minutes. (D)

Accommodation: 2 nights Chobe Bakwena Lodge.

Chobe Bakwena Lodge is an eco-luxury retreat on the banks of the Chobe River, in the Chobe region. Bakwena has a total of 15 individual chalets designed and decorated in a manner befitting the environment which offer a cool and comfortable escape. There are two Room Types at Bakwena Lodge. Ten ‘River-View Chalets’ which are all facing the magnificent Chobe River and Five ‘Treetop Chalets’ which are elevated 3.5 meters above the ground with views of the Treetop canopy.

Day 2

Enjoy morning and afternoon activities provided by the lodge, these include game drives and boat cruises and it is recommended that take part in the Guided Bicycle Tours and Village Walks that are offered as part of the Social Responsibility Programme. (BLD)

Day 3

After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Kasane and your onward arrangements. (B)
