The insurance must be bought exclusively from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation, even if travellers already have other travel insurance. The government will provide a QR code to access the purchase link (not yet available). Travellers must show proof of purchase upon arrival, with the policy sent via email. Failure to buy the insurance may result in denied entry.
This insurance must be purchased in advance prior to their journey by the travellers themselves, and we cannot book it on your behalf.
