    Day 1 - Ruaha National Park

    On arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport you will be transferred to your light aircraft flight from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha. (LD)

    Accommodation: 3 nights Ruaha River Lodge

    Set on one of the most stunning stretches of the Great Ruaha River, you can see game throughout the day from the comfort of your veranda; there can surely be few other camps as perfectly situated. Built out of local stone and thatch, Ruaha River Lodge is positioned around natural kopjes and capitalises on it’s exceptional position on a bend in the river. It is the only ‘lodge’ in the Ruaha, consisting of 24 stone chalets stretching along the river bank. Each chalet has stunning views from a large veranda out the front, while the huge interiors feature a sitting area, writing desk and either twin or double beds. The first dining area is a long banda by the side of the river. Breakfast is the perfect time to watch the game meander down for a drink, while evenings can be spent around the fire pit, looking down the river, or curled up in one of the sofas with a drink and a book. The second dining area is imperiously-positioned atop the largest kopje in the area, situated on a bend, and enjoys commanding views down two sections of the river. This is surely the best sundowner spot in Ruaha.

    Day 2 to Day 3 - Ruaha National Park

    Two full days enjoying your safari in Ruaha National Park. Game drives around the park are taken in open-sided safari vehicles which have been designed to ensure maximum visibility for all passengers. The game drives are led by a trained, experienced English speaking guide who will ensure that you get the most out of every safari you make. (BLD)

    Day 4 - End of Ruaha River Lodge Stay

    This morning after breakfast and a possible morning activity you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam. (B)
