Day 1 - Selous Game Reserve
On arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport you will be transferred to your light aircraft flight from Dar es Salaam to Selous. (D)
Accommodation: 3 nights Sand Rivers Selous.Sand Rivers Selous is an intimate safari lodge in Tanzania’s Selous Game Reserve, set on a rocky peninsula with views over the Rufiji River. The lodge offers a unique blend of classic safari elegance combined with the ruggedness of a genuine bush adventure, overlooking the river that is brimming with hippos and crocodiles. Sand Rivers Selous has just eight stone and thatched Cottages, all are open-fronted and raised on decks overlooking the river. There are five Riverside Rooms – with en-suite bathrooms, hot and cold running water, flush toilets and powerful showers – and three Hillside Suites. The suites have all the above, but a large living space and a small plunge pool.
Day 2 to Day 3 - Selous Game Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing activities. (BLD)
Day 4 - End of Sand Rivers Selous Stay
This morning after breakfast and a possible morning activity you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam. (B)
