Paying homage to the mobile camps of the 1930’s, the 12 en-suite tents are designed to evoke the very best of an era long-gone but certainly not forgotten. With a canvas- covered floor adorned with throw carpets and luxuriant soft furnishings, each tent offers sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless plains.

    Day 1 - Serengeti National Park

    Depart Arusha by scheduled flight to Seronera Airstrip. On arrival transfer to Serengeti Pioneer Camp. (D)

    Accommodation: 2 nights Serengeti Pioneer Camp.

    Located in South Central Serengeti – Tanzania – (within the Moru Kopjes area), Serengeti Pioneer Camp is ideally situated to offer superlative access to the annual migration and the ‘Big Five’ with sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless plains.

    Serengeti Pioneer Camp continues a tradition of individual style and feel. Paying homage to the mobile camps of the 1930’s, a time when an African safari was truly a journey into the unknown, Serengeti Pioneer Camp’s ‘zero footprint’ and close proximity to nature combines to make an unmistakably distinctive and truly individual offering.

    Day 2 - Serengeti National Park

    Enjoy scheduled game viewing activities. (BLD)

    Day 3 - End of Serengeti Pioneer Camp Stay

    This morning you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip for a scheduled flight back to Arusha Airport. (B)

    Note: Luggage is restricted to 15 kgs per person and soft bags are highly recommended. Due to limited space available for storage in safari vehicles and regional aircrafts, we strongly recommend the use soft bags (duffle style) rather than hard Samsonite type suitcases.
