    Day 1 - Tarangire National Park

    This morning depart by road from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a picnic lunch and game drive. (LD)

    Accommodation: 2 nights Maramboi Tented Camp.

    Sitting on the shores of Lake Manyara, Maramboi is a large permanent tented camp offering game drives in both Manyara National Park and Tarangire. It shares its unique location with just one other lodge and is a lovely quiet alternative to the value lodges clustered around the north of Tarangire.

    At the centre of the camp are the main mess area and swimming pool as well as a library and lounge. All enjoy enormous views across the flat plains out over the lake and beyond to the escarpment of cliffs at the far side of Manyara National Park.

    Day 2 - Tarangire National Park

    Spend the day exploring Tarangire National Park. (BLD)

    Day 3 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    Depart Tarangire after early breakfast and head to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch. Continue to Ngorongoro and overnight in a private mobile camp. (BLD)

    Please note: During April and May Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge will be used.

    Accommodation: 2 nights Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp.

    Located at Lemala Extra private campsite on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, a few hundred metres off the Lemala descent and ascent route into / out of the crater floor; from the camp it takes hardly 15 minutes of driving to get on to the crater floor, home to thousands of plains animals, for game viewing.

    The Kuhama Ngorongoro has a total of 16 guest tents and it is provided in spacious walk-in tents with wooden floor, twin beds made of fine tropical wood, bedside tables, mattresses, blankets, bed sheets and pillows; the tents are big and can accommodate triple beds. Each accommodation tent has a verandah with two safari chairs and a safari table allowing you to relax with a book, or just enjoy the different scents, sights and sounds around you.

    Day 4 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    Enjoy a full day game drive in the crater with a picnic lunch. Return to camp for dinner and overnight. (BLD)

    Day 5 - Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast drive through the hilly landscape and onto the plains of the Serengeti. On the way make a stop at Ol’Duvai Gorge, sight of the famous archaeological finds by the Leakey family. Here in the ‘cradle of mankind’ the skull of a human was found, believed to be the oldest ever at 1.75 million years of age. Arrive at your Camp in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. (BLD)

    Accommodation: 2 nights Kati Kati Tented Camp.

    Kati Kati Tented Camp’s a mobile tented camp located in Central Serengeti, strategically located to cover the vast Serengeti Plains. The camp offers comfortable accommodation and a unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari camp experience. The camp is only a two hour scenic drive from Ol’Duvai Gorge and the Grumeti River. With 10 meru style safari tents that perfectly blend into their surrounding habitat. The rooms are comfortable with the option of having a double or twin bedded tent, and an en-suite bathroom. A cosy mess tent is located in the centre of the camp where meals are served. The campfire is ready every evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner.

    Day 6 - Serengeti National Park

    Enjoy morning and afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park. (BLD)

    Day 7 - End of Tanzania Under Canvas

    After breakfast you will be transferred to Arusha by road or take an optional flight at an additional cost. (BL)
