For several years each group of gorillas has undergone an extremely delicate process that has gradually made them used to the presence of humans. Experienced guides accompany the tracking, many of whom have been involved in the habituation process themselves.

    Day 1 - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

    On arrival at Entebbe Airport please connect with your flight to Kihihi airstrip. On arrival at Kihihi you will be met and transfer by road to your accommodation, transfer time is approximately 75 minutes. (D)

    Accommodation: 3 nights Trackers Safari Lodge.

    Located less than 2km from the main entry of the world famous Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park this luxury lodge has loads of sophistication combined in a very relaxed atmosphere among the stunning manicured gardens. Trackers Safari lodge has stunning views over the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, the magical bush and mountain atmosphere offers a truly authentic African Safari experience match with affordable luxury at its best.

    Day 2 to Day 3 - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

    The main reason for a visit to this unique part of the world is to experience the mountain Gorilla’s by joining an organised guided trek into the mountains to track one of the few remaining families. The cost of the permit is not included in the package price but can be organised. (BLD)

    When organised you would depart the lodge after breakfast and be transferred to the departure point of the trek and given a briefing and introduced to your guides before commencing for an incredible journey to observe these primates in their natural habitat.

    Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
    Enjoy the ultimate Gorilla experience as you come with feet of the worlds remaining gentle giants. The extensive stands of bamboo, rain forest and thick ground cover of ferns are what earned the forest its legendary name “Bwindi Impenetrable Forest”.

    After your trek you will be returned to your lodge to reflect on your memorable experience and relax with a spa or massage.

    Day 4 - End of the Trackers Safari Lodge Stay

    After breakfast you will be transferred to Kihihi airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe and your onward journey. (B)
